Description

Around the time of the one year anniversary of my horse's death, I was feeling sad and really missing him. I had had him for 32 years. Life was different without my good buddy.
I was painting swatches with random colors to warm myself up with painting one day. I began using a new technique to find more flow with the paints.
I began experimenting with colors and swirling, shapes, colors, spirals. I painted around 30 hearts within 2 weeks. Painting this way with fluid, vibrant colors with large single hearts on a page was all I wanted to do. It was incredibly soothing, satisfying and uplifting.
This helped me feel my horse deep within my heart. And I felt so much better through this process of painting in this way.
